‘Team Dollywagon’ cycle jersey competition

Dollywagon is named after a mountain in England’s Lake District, where we’re based.

It’s a great place for cycling enthusiasts like us and we’ve decided that we want to ponce around on our bikes in ‘Team Dollywagon’ cycling jerseys. We’ve got four competing designs but can’t decide what to go for.

If readers of this blog can tell us which looks coolest, we’ll send a free jersey printed with the most popular design to whoever can best convince us it’s a good idea to be spending money on vanity branding projects like this…

p.s. when we first made this post our ‘comments’ system was misbehaving – apologies to all those who were unable to leave a comment.

Dollywagon HQ goes for icicle record

This morning Dollywagon HQ recorded overnight temperatures of -14 degrees centigrade, a thermometer reading that hasn’t been witnessed around these parts for at least 30 years.

We also seem to have grown some pretty impressive icicles, too. (more…)

‘Rory the Tory’ marches past Dollywagon HQ

Dollywagon is based in one of the remotest parts of England where the people are resourceful, independent and generally conservative. Moving here from London was a real culture shock, but we’ve never looked back and have learnt a lot from the process of fitting in. I’m therefore always interested to read about how other people have coped with the same experience, which is the basis of this blog post. (more…)
