Push-to-Surf uses sophisticated technology to combine page-level data on consumer internet browsing, diary-based records of personal off-line media usage and detailed information taken from advertising media schedules into a single data resource.

It does this by collecting actual web browsing data and off-line media consumption information from thousands of consumers. The system also gathers very detailed information from media owners and media agencies about the specific placement or transmission of brand commercials.

All of this data is then combined and analysed to understand the cause-and-effect relationships between consumer exposure to off-line brand advertising and subsequent brand-related online browsing activity.
